The Announcement

Upon return from their vacation in the beautiful Maldives, the couple first took the news of their commitment to their parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, and Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani.

Returning that respect with a gesture of acceptance and love, Ranveer’s parents presented Deepika with a sari from one of her favourite designers, the one and only, Sabyasachi.

An Intimate Affair, Abroad.

So, what did this 5 year in-the-making power couple choose so far?

Following suite with other superstars (Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja come to mind), Deepika and Ranveer have chosen to have a destination wedding!

While we know that they’re opting for a wedding outside of India, they have yet to confirm their destination of choice.

What they have confirmed, however, is their desire to have an intimate ceremony with a guest list of just their closest friends and family.
